GTA 6 Pre-Orders Now Open: Pricing, Ultimate Edition Details, and November 19 Release Date

Rockstar Games has officially opened pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI, the long-awaited next installment in the blockbuster open-world franchise, with a confirmed launch date of November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pricing starts at HK$568 for the standard edition, while the Ultimate Edition — packed with exclusive vehicles, weapons, and story content — comes in at HK$708.

Pre-orders are now live across the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and major retail channels worldwide. In Japan, the standard edition is priced at ¥9,800 and the Ultimate Edition at ¥12,280, while South Korean players will pay ₩89,800 and ₩112,800 respectively. Players who opt for the standard edition can later upgrade to the Ultimate Edition for an additional HK$140 (¥2,480 in Japan, ₩23,000 in South Korea).

The Ultimate Edition comes loaded with exclusive content woven into the storylines of protagonists Jason and Lucia. Highlights include the Grotti Cheetah ‘95 sports car, the Hawk & Little Morgan revolver, a customized sidearm, exclusive clothing and tattoos, safehouse vehicles, modification kits, and access to a dedicated mod shop and barbershop.

Early adopters have extra incentive to pull the trigger: anyone who pre-orders or purchases the game before November 20, 2026 will receive the “Vintage Vice City Pack” bonus content at no extra charge. Digital pre-order customers also get one free month of GTA+ membership thrown in.

Digital pre-loading begins on November 12, 2026, giving players a full week to have the game ready on launch day. Physical editions — which, notably, do not include a disc but instead contain a download code inside the box — will also hit shelves on the same date to allow for early pre-loading.

Grand Theft Auto VI arrives more than thirteen years after Grand Theft Auto V, which launched in September 2013. The game is set in the fictional state of Leonida, anchored by the neon-drenched metropolis of Vice City, and follows a dual-protagonist narrative centered on Jason and Lucia. A PC release date has not yet been announced.
