Xiaomi's €139 A27i 2026 monitor is a no-frills 144Hz panel for Europe
Xiaomi has quietly launched the A27i 2026 monitor in Germany, and at €139 (roughly ¥1,078), it sits in an odd spot — a 27-inch 144Hz display that isn’t really meant for gamers.
The panel is a 27-inch IPS unit running at FHD resolution (1920×1080) with a 144Hz refresh rate and 6ms response time. Those numbers look like gaming specs on paper, but Xiaomi isn’t positioning it that way. There’s no FreeSync or G-Sync mention, and the 6ms response time is well above what competitive gamers expect from actual gaming monitors. Think of it as a high-refresh desktop display that makes everyday scrolling and window animations feel smoother, rather than a esports weapon.
Spec-wise, the A27i 2026 uses a native 6-bit IPS panel that reaches 8-bit through FRC dithering — workable for general use but not a color-accurate monitor for photo editing. Peak brightness is 300 nits, static contrast ratio sits at 1500:1, and Xiaomi claims ΔE under 1, which is decent for the price bracket.
Connectivity is basic: one DisplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.0. There’s no USB hub, no KVM passthrough, and no USB-C upstream. The included stand only offers tilt adjustment — no height swivel or pivot — though the monitor does support VESA mounting, so you can swap in a third-party arm or bracket.
The A27i 2026 is already listed on Xiaomi’s German storefront. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense display for anyone who wants 27 inches and a smooth refresh rate without paying for gaming-brand markup.
